Ms. Martinez Luque and Her Efforts to Change the world through Art

Norka Martinez Luque was born in 1986 in Caracas, Venezuela. Her parents sent her abroad soon after she graduated from high school in her hometown. She resided in France for four years while pursuing a business course. School work did not deter her from pursuing her musical dream. She eventually joined a musical group known as Bad Moon Rising.

Ms. Martinez relocated to Monaco soon after she graduated from the French business school. Her primary intention of moving to Monaco was to look for a business related job. She landed a job in the banking sector of Monaco. Unfortunately, she quit the job soon after realizing that a business career did not work for her.

She moved to the U.S and settled in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She immediately got down to business and started performing in nightclubs in the Miami area. Her movements in this region enabled her to meet the renowned Latino producer, Emilio Estefan Jr. He gained a special interest in her work soon after he listened to samples of her music.

Emilio Estefan coached her, and soon they released her first album. The first single off this album was released in 2011. It was known as “As You Do It.” This track became a success and was acknowledged in the Latin Music Awards, Premios Lo Nuestro Awards.

Unfortunately, in 2007, medical professionals diagnosed Norka Luque with epilepsy, a condition of the central nervous system. In 2014, her condition took a turn for the worse.

Despite all the setbacks, Norka Luque is a strong woman and is now staging a major comeback. Her latest single dubbed “Tomorrowland” was produced by none other than the Panamanian-Canadian Tropical Urban singer/songwriter Fito Blanko.

Ms. Martinez is inspired by other successful artists including George Michael, Sia, Enrique Iglesias, Jay-Z, Alesso, Beyonce, Bob Sinclair, Nirvana, Shakira, Ricky Martin and Aerosmith.

She is a strong follower of different music genres including R&B, Pop, dance, rap and alternative rock. Apart from music, Ms. Martinez also enjoys playing tennis and traveling. She also finds pleasure in other things such as food and love.

However, it is only a matter of time before her music spreads to the mainstream music community. Currently, most of her fans are from major Latino communities around the world. Follow her on Facebook if you would like to know more about her life and work.

SOLVY is a Top Mathematics Platform

Education is a fundamental part of society. Without a quality education system, our society would not be able to fill important roles, and society would eventually crumble. Our society has become increasingly talented at passing down knowledge, but one form of education has actually gotten worse over time.

Mathematics education is a constant state of disrepair. High school teachers feel overworked, and they often have no choice but to turn to multiple choice worksheets for homework. Students are not receiving the care and attention they deserve, and it feels like there is no hope for a brighter future.

Alexei Beltyukov is an extremely talented businessman who has spent his lifetime solving major issues.

Alexei knows that mathematics is extremely important, but he also knows that students throughout the world need help with mathematics. Alexei dedicated most of the last few years to developing SOLVY. SOLVY is a truly unique platform that allows teachers to assign problems to their students based on need.

In the past, mathematics platforms used multiple choice problems to test students knowledge. Unfortunately, this system encourages students to use their test-taking ability rather than their mathematical skill. SOLVY recognizes this problem and they offer a brilliant solution. SOLVY asks students to show their work every step of the way. This allows teachers to see problems in students work and to quickly address these issues. This solution is unlike any offered on the internet today.

SOLVY was unveiled a year ago, and it has already proven to be a popular tool for teachers around the country. Teachers love the fact that they can easily assign students homework, and that the grading system actually informs their instruction.

Alexei Beltyukov is extremely proud of his work with SOLVY, but he has big plans for the future. According to, Alexei Beltyukov plans on working with schools around the country to ensure that every child has access to a quality mathematics education. Alexei Beltyukov plans to keep working on SOLVY for years to come.

Securus Helps Law Enforcement Crack The Code

Securus Technology recently debuted its new crime-fighting software. The technology company performs a variety of services for the law enforcement community and also provides telephone services to inmates in jail facilities across the country.

It’s latest software, Investigator Pro 4.0 with voice search, is helping law-enforcement crack secret codes being passed between prisoners. It does this by cataloguing every phone call that an inmate makes. The software then analyzes the inmate’s voice so that I can track the phone calls made by that particular prisoner.

When a law enforcement officer wants to listen to the phone calls made by the prisoner, she simply uses the software. The software digs deep into the database to pull up every phone call that involves that particular prisoners voice. The software can even pull up every phone call between two particular voices.

This kind of search can show law-enforcement repetitive messages. Gangs often use coded language to communicate criminal activity. For instance, a murder might be coded as “stepping on a cigarette” during a phone call with a prisoner. Law enforcement can then listen to a series of phone calls made between two particular people to hear this message pop up over and over again.

Once the message is suspected, law enforcement can then turn to crime databases. They can cross reference the instances of the coded message with any criminal activity in the area. This can allow them to predict crime before it happens and can be a useful tool in prosecuting criminals using coded language. Without this technology, law enforcement would be hard-pressed to make such connections. It would take too many people working too long hours.

8 Rules For Young Entrepreneurs In Panama

Want to prosper and thrive? Hoping to make an impact as a Panama entrepreneur? Adrián José Velasquez Figueroa is a creative leader in a gang of Venezuelan expats in Panama who is helping others learn how to grow their business. Figueroa has collected 8 rules that will make you and your organization stay on top of the competition.

1. Become an Innovator – Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein, Bill Gates, and George Soros all had one thing in common. They did something that their peers did not do. Identify what your competitors are rejecting, either out of fear or ignorance.

2. Be flexible and mobile – Be willing to take public transit. Do things to cut expenses. The more free capital you have, the more you have to invest in your mission. People who thrive make sacrifices in their stability and comfort. Staying in one place is not a quick path to success. Learn from people you disagree with.

3. Be an elegant and sociable negotiator – Let’s face it, a business is comprised of people. If you do not know how to get along with people, your business will likely fail. The key to success according to Adrián José Velasquez Figueroa is learning how to work with others, including the most annoying variety. Listen carefully, and you might just find the new idea that will launch your growth.

4. Success is not dependent on an impeccable record – The people who try hardest to keep up a good image are usually unwilling to admit where they need help. Growth comes when we admit where we failed, and try again. Being honest and humble is key to growing your company quickly.

5. Avoid shortcuts – The most opportunity on lies where people do not try. Look at the hard path, and take it. Math, science, vegetarianism, thinking, religion, repetition, discipline, all of these virtues can develop the personal character of you and your business. Do not try to fudge what you need to work hard at.

6. Minimize Expenses – Shop at a thrift store, use Craigslist for business supplies, live poor to grow rich. If you live rich, you will grow poor. Keep it simple, and watch your profits grow quickly. Eat at home, not at the restaurant.

7. Plan for failure – Identify what could go wrong. Take the Myers-Briggs personality test, and carefully analyze your weaknesses as an individual. Make sure that you enlist someone on your team who has the opposite weaknesses. This will make you bulletproof from all competition on Twitter.

8. Learn from industry – Look at those who have gone before you. Learn from them. Why did it take Thomas Edison so many times to design the perfect light bulb? How could you do better?

Take a Ride with the “Greyhound Diaries”

Musicians typically make music that reflects what they know or how they know how to feel. The Beatles got their career to super stardom by writing little pop rock songs about catchy phrases mainly about feelings of love or about their energetic “lad” experiences. Only after they had toured and used drugs extensively did they start to change their sound. Singer-songwriter Doug Levitt chose to travel first, experience new things, see different lives and then write his folk rock albums “Greyhound Diaries”.

The Greyhound Diaries” was the result of one hundred thousand miles traveled via Greyhound bus over a decades long time frame. “Greyhound Diaries” inspired Doug Levitt to create two albums, a show, writings, a photo series and a web series. The entire albums tells stories about what he saw, who he saw and who he heard speaking on the Greyhound buses. It tells of the dark side, the heartbreak and the hopefulness in utter hopelessness in the American countryside. Doug Levitt seems to have become fascinated by the stories of people across America and chose to write not of his own experiences, but to write about the experiences and struggle of everyday people.  The stories are sometimes relatable and other times too miserable to fathom. It may not be music that will be playing on the top pop songs radio station, but “Greyhound Diaries” is a strong folk/pop/rock album that deals with the reality of the American people that is entirely lacking glamour.

Doug Levitt at first glance does not seem exactly like the type of guy who would be the voice of everyday Americans. He grew up in Washington, D.C. and was the son of Carol Schwartz who was a member of the city council and was a mayor candidate at one point. He studied at Cornell University and at London School of Economics, where he earned a Master’s degree in International Relations. After obtaining his degree, Doug Levitt became a foreign correspondent for ABC, CNN and MSNBC.

The next step of Doug Levitt’s journey though, was to become a singer-songwriter. As odd as it might seem, Doug has stated that his choice was because of his interest in music and that his father’s suicide made him become more focused on art as a healthy form of expressing emotion.

Perhaps Doug’s work as a foreign correspondent made him more observant of the plight of those people around him. Maybe he just found the right way to portray American stories into songs, writings and photographs. Whatever the reason, Doug Levitt’s “Greyhound Diaries” is an excellent arrangement of music and story telling of what the reality of being an American really means.
