Renown Health has announced that they will be treating patients out of South Reno starting this spring when their new family practice clinic opens up at the Reno Summit Mall. The clinic will offer patients primary care services along with an in-house laboratory. There is room to consider adding more services at the South Reno clinic based on demand. There are already plans to add a conference room where staff can meet with their patients to talk about healthcare as needed.
Medical director for Renown Medical Group, Dr. McCormack, commented in a phone interview that the aim of the clinic is to create an inviting setting that will prompt patients to come in and seek medical are. He explained that they want the waiting room to look like an extension of their living room to make seeking medical aid a more comfortable experience.
When the South Reno Renown clinic opens it will be staffed with 11 people with the plan to add on another nurse practitioner and primary care physician. The clinic is spread across 10,000 square feet across three different empty storefronts. Dr. McCormack stated that as the population of Truckee Meadows continues to grow it is important to offer more access to primary care clinics in the region.
Renown Health is the only not-for-profit healthcare network located in Reno. This is important to note because all of the earnings of the major health network stay within the network and are placed back into programs to help improve health services and the health of the community they serve. In order to provide the best care to the communities that Renown Health serves, 150 community members sit on the Renown boards or hold advisory positions. The end result is a giant health network that is able to offer community members personalized heath care tailored to their demands and needs.
During the world economic Forum held in Davos, Jacob Leif of Ubuntu Education Fund expressed his sadness due to the rich that exploit the poor and also due to the donors that give out their money with restrictions. These restrictions affect the sustainability of the projects being funded. The CEO of the foundation preaches the gospel of the rich dining together with the poor.

Andrew Rolfe was hired by Ubuntu recently. He is part of the team that ensures that all donations to Ubuntu are issued without restrictions. He is now working hard so as to improve educational problems, the social welfare and healthcare issues in Cape Province.
Andrew Rolfe ensures that each child’s needs at Ubuntu are provided so as to live comfortably. Together with his colleague Jacob, Andrew Rolfe ensures that they get funds from philanthropists who trust that Ubuntu can deliver faithfully. Funding a child’s education without dictating on how the funds should be spent allows the child to learn without worrying.
Ubuntu Education Fund is a not for profit organization that provides quality education and healthcare to the less privileged in the society. Dr. Jennifer Walden was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994. She continued her education at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She graduated with the highest honor of salutatorian of her class in 1998. After completing her residency training in 2003, she moved to New York. She completed her fellowship training at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in 2004. Afterward, she accepted an academic appointment as Clinical Instructor of Plastic Surgery at New York University Langone Medical Center.
