In the months leading up to the Academy Awards, the interwebs are flooded with pundit predictions on which films and folks will win the coveted Oscar.
Yet for the MTV Movie Awards? Zero. Zilch. Nada.
So taking a cue from our friends at Gold Derby, we’ve enlisted a panel of experts to predict the winners in each of the 12 categories at Sunday’s show (airing live on MTV at 9 p.m. ET).
The 12 esteemed contenders: Aimee Carlson (Myspace), Erik Davis (Movies.com), Jordan Hoffman (UGO), Dave Karger (Entertainment Weekly), Eric Larnick (Moviefone), Tom O’Neil (Gold Derby), Sean Phillips (Yahoo! Movies), our own Kevin Polowy, Mike Sampson (JoBlo), Anne Thompson (indieWire), Susan Wloszczyna (USA Today) and Jen Yamato (Movieline).
Follow along at home – or check back on Monday – to see which expert comes out on top. On the line: Maybe not a Golden Popcorn statue, but at least a bag of microwave popcorn. And pride of course.
