April Black, 24, of Smithfield has gone from living on a farm in Fayette County to ziplining off skyscrapers and leaping off exploding yachts.

“My first role, how I got into it, was that I auditioned for the Taylor Lautner movie, ‘Abduction’ that came to town,” Black says. “I got picked for a ‘bikini girl’ role in a party scene. It filmed until 2 or 3 in the morning. And in one of my scenes, I got to stand right next to Taylor Lautner, which was cool for my very first opportunity.”

“Abduction” is set to open on Sept. 23.
