People rarely associate sleep disorders with dental problems despite the fact that many dentists treat patients suffering from these disorders. For instance, AviWeisfogel developed a keen interest in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders during his first week as a dentist after he received many patients with sleeping problems. This encouraged him to join dental marketing clubs due to his interest in marketing and business.
In 2010, AviWeisfogel left the clubs to open his sleep-based company. He spent two years and several millions of dollars to develop a system, which would help diagnose and treat disorders like sleep apnea. He became successful started to teach others. Furthermore, he spent the following year teaching his system to fellow dentists.Avi worked alongside his partner Barry to establish the Dental Sleep Masters programs, which was designed to reach out to more patients, dentists, and physicians.
AviWeisfogel is also the founder of Healthy Heart Sleep. He established the organization six years ago. Also, he is attributed with the launch of Owner Unlimited Sleep Patients. The above organizations primarily handle sleep-related conditions like sleep apnea.
Personal Experiences of AviWeisfogel
AviWeisfogel loves helping children who are suffering from sleep apnea. This is because of the deep connection he has with his family and children. He also believes that children are future leaders; therefore, they should be given the best medical care available. Avi supported the Operation Smile organization that aimed to help children suffering from various medical conditions. AviWeisfogel has a degree in BA from Rutgers University; he specialized in psychology and biology. He later attended the New York University College of Dentistry for his master’s and obtained his DDS. Avi then worked as a dentist from 1999 when he opened his practice called Old Bridge Dental Care. While there, he received the dentist of the year accolade severally. Today, Avi remains persistent on establishing an association between dentists and sleep physicians that will enable them to find a permanent cure for sleep apnea.
