Technology Whiz Eric Pulier is Known for His Companies and Charitable Contributions

Eric Pulier is an entrepreneur from America who is very concerned with utilizing technology to help change the world. He spends a great deal of time working with charity organizations and building his various ventures into strong business organisms. He has a rich and varied background that has helped him become an insightful and powerful contributor to the American business and technology landscape.

Pulier was destined to be in the computer world since his childhood. A driven child, the New Jersey boy was already programming computers by the time he reached fourth grade. He continued to follow his dream and started a database computer while still in high school. Once he graduated he enrolled in Harvard University and worked as an editor and columnist for The Harvard Crimson. This was still not enough for him as he took additional colleges at MIT in his little spare time.

He graduated in 1988 and three years later moved to LA to start People Doing Things. The company focused on using technology to help improve major areas of life for people. It took a close look at education and health care and continued to spur him to move forward. Just a few years later he created Digital Evolution the interactive agency and then merged it with US Interactive LLC.

While he was busy building technology, he also took time off to create technology for charity as well. One of his proudest creations was Starbright World, which is a private social network platform that allows chronically ill children to talk to each other. The platform offers a chat function, blog function, and lets them post content so that ill children can talk to others like them in a safe environment.

Additionally, Pulier has also worked on environmental initiatives and has contributed to the political world. He was selected by the Presidential Inaugural Committee to create the Presidential Technology Exhibition in 1997 and then went on to participate in the health care and technology forum that was led by VP Al Gore.
