Hart Energy named Kelcy Warren to its inaugural Hall of Fame class in 2023, recognizing the Energy Transfer founder as an architect of a pipeline empire. The Company He Built
Warren co-founded Energy Transfer in 1996 with approximately 200 miles of natural gas pipeline in East Texas. The company’s expansion from that point forward became one of the defining growth stories in midstream energy. Energy Transfer now operates a national network transporting natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil, and refined products. Warren has served as executive chairman and chairman of the board throughout the company’s history, working in the energy sector for more than 45 years total.
